STRAIGHT TO BUSINESS!
No time for small talk this week - I’m behind on deadlines, but I also have news to share, so we’ll catch up properly next time. You’ve all been good though, right? This last lockdown has been awful, but hey the sun is out and days are getting longer so thats something.
PROJECT 70!
I totally spaced on letting you know my last card was on sale, but I’ll endeavour to keep up with them from here on. Anyway, card three: Babe Ruth. Due to a mix up on my end I thought this was going to be my second drop, but that wound up being Juan Soto, so here we are.
Bambino is available NOW through 12pm ET Saturday (5/1)
By now, you might start to get a feel for what I’m doing with these cards - a mix of an action shot and a portrait with abstracted team logos and the same palette throughout. I hope when the set is complete they’ll look really neat together. I’m starting work on card seven next week and I couldn’t be happier with the first six - I can’t wait for you to see them too. Hell, here’s a preview of card five - it’s very goofy.
SHOP UPDATE!
A couple of new things in the shop today. I got my AP copies of Scoob! from Mondo and they’re available now. The variant is going to be sold by my agency ATRBUTE when they get their web shop up and running later in the year so it’s just the reg for sale at the moment. This artwork was part of the credit sequence I designed with Studio Aspect and its a joy to see it as a poster too.
Also available today are my first two signed Project 70 cards - Jose Canseco and Juan Soto. They are priced at $200 and are numbered xx/12.

OTHER BUSINESS!
THANK YOU to everyone who bought pin-badges last month. They are in production and there have been a couple hiccups outside of my control so it be a couple weeks more before they ship. Thank you for your patience!
That’s all I got for today - I’m in the midst of a bunch of projects that I can’t show anything from yet, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel and I’m hoping to start work on some new posters for the guys at Mondo in the next couple of weeks. It’s been a minute since I made a movie poster so I’m looking forwards to dipping my toes back in that pool.
Until next time, take care and wear a damn mask
